Objective:
Complete fresh design of the company's website with a focus on
major improvements in aesthetics, usability and functionality.
Background:
Maxx Bar & Grill was purchased by the Westman family in the
summer of 2006. Upon purchasing the business, a substantial renovation
took place. As in normal Westman family tradition, the entire
family joined in to help create a more spacious and warm atmosphere.
The craftsmen within the family were able to perform the necessary
work and keep the business open while the construction took place.
This was the talk of the town. This
sense of family is what makes Maxx Bar & Grill not just another
corner sports bar.

maintainable content areas /CMT sites
Allows
the client to update articles within there website via html browser,
giving the client the ability to update specific areas of the
website. Because content management sites separate content (by
storing it in a database) and design (by using templates), changes
to a site’s structure and content can be made incrementally as
needed. In contrast to the previous example, a company could add
a customer support area to a database-driven site by simply adding
the new content and adjusting the site templates. This process
is far simpler than making global changes to every static page.
Additionally, making changes to a content management site remains
just as easy if the site were to double or triple in size. By
contrast, a static site would require two or three times as much
effort and expense.
